I have a bit of a habit of connecting specific bits of music with certain weather systems and seasonal vibes. Today is no exception! I'm currently writing this blog in a car out in a field in the Scottish countryside with intense heavy summer rain. I personally love this type of weather and listening to Tribe Friday and their new single 'Salt Clouds' I feel that the two are perfect companions.

The backbone of the new song feels like familiar summer indie rock, with punchy drums, an energetic bass line and classic indie guitar style. However, an outstanding lead vocal performance separates this single from the crowd. From airy and delicate, to pure emotive melodical rage, Noah (vocalist) really takes you on a journey showcasing his unique gift. The band also engages edgy production to offer fans a brilliant single that builds momentum and easily deserves a space in your musical year!
