I normally prefer to feature undiscovered artists, but up until fairly recently 'mehro' would have fitted into that category. Since 2020, mehro has rocketed onto the music scene with tenacity and it's easy to see why.

​

'like you're god' is his latest offering. A song that has a fantastic dark feeling, cemented by an awesome delicate vocal performance and trance inducing rhythmic percussion. The chunky and addictive bass line sounds nothing short of brilliant and the catchy chorus hook teases the song slightly towards commercial, all the while maintaining the brilliant edgy alternative sound.

The song evokes the same kind of dark feeling in me that 'The Doors' stirs, but in a much more modern way. At the same time, the track does make me feel a little bit like dancing around a fire in the woods, in an ancient pagan way! I'm sure mehro will only continue his upward trajectory.
